SA8000:2026 replaces the 2014 edition. The strength of the standard is field evidence, worker interviews, age verification, hours and overtime, freedom of association and evidence of remediation. Reports fail when a finding is not tied to the right element or lacks objective evidence, and the reviewer must confirm this before the decision.
